HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD SQUADS COMETE AT MOLLY DRY (2024-04-11) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report MANSFIELD — The North Penn-Mansfield boys and girls Track & Field teams competed at Thursday’s Molly Dry Memorial Invitational with each squad finishing in 7th place.
Senior Zack Wilcox earned the Tigers’ two event titles on the day, winning both the 800 meter run (2:01.12) and the triple jump (39-5).
Sophomore Luke Kreger placed 3rd in the high jump (5-8) while freshman Michael Knefley was 5th in both the 1600 (4:52.59) and in the 3200 (10:38.33). Junior Cedric Miller was 7th (56.18) in the 400 while freshman Colton Pellet was 8th (56.44) and junior Brady Stetter finished 8th in the long jump (17-6).
The boys scored 44 points while Corning won the boys title with 201 points. The Lady Tigers collected 31 points while meet champ Corning had 211.
Junior Anna Kennedy placed 4th in the 200 meter dash (29.72) and 5th in the 100 meter dash (14.09) and freshman Gabby Bubeck finished 8th in the 200 (30.38). Freshman Madilynn Scott was 4th in the triple jump (30-9.25) and 7th in the long jump (13-6), senior Tierney Patterson was 6th in the javelin (71-11) and 8th in the discus (73-11), senior Addison Farrer was 6th in the 1600 (5:42.85) and junior Madelynne Johns was 8th in the 800 meter run (2:42.85).
