NTL TRACK & FIELD: WILLIAMSON SQUADS BOTH SPLIT TRI-MEET (2024-04-30)

WYALUSING — The Williamson Track & Field teams competed in their final meet of the season here Tuesday with both the boys and girls squads going 1-1 on the day.

The Lady Warriors scored 59 points, behind Wellsboro’s 70 and ahead of the host Rams’ 37 points. 

Olivia Meisner (32-2) won the shot put and Torrina Stratton (2:34.45) placed 1st in the 800 meter run.

Jade Colwell was 2nd in both the 100 meter dash (12.89) and the 200 (27.43) while Aubrey Wells was 2nd (17.83) in the 100 meter hurdles and Kylee Stone was 3rd (18.85). Stone was 2nd (57.29) in the 300 hurdles, Raegan VanGorden was 2nd in the 800 (2:34.88), Stratton was 2nd in the 1600 (6:09.07) and Madalynn Bailey was 3rd (1:06.31) in the 400 while Kyra Daley was 4th (1:09.05).

Stratton was 2nd (6:09.07) in the 1600 and Miriah Buck was 4th (6:16.89) while Clare McKee was 2nd (13:31.63) in the 3200 and Stratton was 3rd (15:12.10). Stone was 2nd in the pole vault (6-6), Sayde Loucks was 2nd (29-11) in the shot put, Bailey was 2nd in the long jump (14-10.50) and Alexis Shenk was 2nd in the javelin (79-4). 

Madison Schoonover placed 4th in the high jump (4-4), Wells was 4th in the long jump (14-5) and Meisner was 4th in the javelin (76-5). 

On the boys’ side, the Warriors scored 44 points while Wellsboro had 85 and Wyalusing had 38.

Kristian Mizdail won both the 1600 (4:42.92) and the 800 (2:08.62) while Michael Lundy won the 3200 (12:02.16). 

Braeden Colwell was 2nd in the 200 meter dash (24.57), Jordan Monroe was 2nd in the 400 (55.30) and 3rd in the 100 (11.65) while Colwell was 4th (11.84). Jeremy Fuhrer was 3rd in the 400 (59.29) and Joshua Teague was 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles (46.12). 

Luke Sottolano placed 2nd in the shot put (37-11) and 3rd in the discus (93-3), Lundy was 3rd in the 1600 (5:23.30), Ephraim Monroe was 3rd in the 3200 (13:00.68) and Matthew McKee was 3rd in the long jump (17-8.50).

Both the boys and girls teams will be back in action next Friday for the NTL Championships at Athens.
