A two-point third quarter by NP-Liberty extended Athens’ lead to 54-14 as they entered the fourth quarter with a running clock.

Jaclyn Nelson scored five fourth-quarter points for NPL and had a team-high seven for the game. Elizabeth Ritchie added six points, while Sidney Landis, Tierney Patterson, Nikki Kiscadden and Mackenzie Broughton each scored two points.

North Penn-Liberty falls to 3-9 on the season with the loss. They are scheduled to visit North Penn-Mansfield on Saturday.
