COLLEGE MENS TRACK & FIELD: WELLSBORO ALUM WAGAMAN SPRINTING FOR BLOOM (2022-03-17)

BLOOMSBURG — Former Wellsboro sprinter Silas Wagaman had a successful winter for the Bloomsburg Mens’ Track & Field team, competing at several indoor meets in various events.

The sophomore ran the 60 meter (7.65), the 200 meter (25.91) and was on the 4x400 relay team (3:55.09) at the Susquehanna University Invite in January, then ran the 60 meter (7.65) and the 200 meter (25.50) a week later at the Gulden Invitational.

In late January, Wagaman clocked his best 200 meter time (24.75) of the season at the (Bucknell) Bison Open, while also running the 60 meter (7.58) and the 4x400 relay (3:43.15).

At the Alvernia Plex Shootout, Wagaman ran his best 60 meter time (7.53) of the season and also ran with the 4x200 relay team (1:37.36).

The Huskies will begin their outdoor season on March 26th at the Jim Taylor Invite at Susquehanna University.
