In winning the NTL Championship meet, the Warriors scored 135.5 points. By sweeping the top-3 finishes in three distance events, Williamson’s Owen Cummings, Kristian Mizdail and Nathaniel Welch .. ‘The Mile Mafia’ .. accounted for 72 of those points. Take away those points and the remaining members still scored enough points to beat six competing teams, proving that the Warriors’ title was a true, team effort.

Coolidge won the NTL shot put title with a throw of 29-10, and finished second in the javelin, PR-ing with a 114-02 .. past the District qualifying mark of 105-06 and shy of the State qualifying mark by less than seven feet.

Doty won his opening-round match at the District IV playoffs, 2-6, 7-5, 6-4, over his opponent from Northwest Area.

Bordas had a solid, consistent week (.533 BA, 4 RBI, 7 runs), despite the Lady Hornets going 1-3 to finish their season. In a walk-off loss to Wyalusing, Bordas had three hits, with a double, and added two RBI and a run scored. She then had a pair of hits, an RBI and three runs scored in a win over Coudersport, and a hit and a run scored in the Hornets’ loss to Towanda. She capped her season with two hits, including a triple, and an RBI and three runs scored in the Hornets’ season-ending loss to Williamson. 

Wellsboro went 2-0-1 on the week and Adams was consistent throughout. In the Hornets’ win at Wyalusing, Adams had a triple, an RBI and scored a run, then followed that up with a hit, an RBI and a run in a win over Williamson. Finally, in the Hornets’ tie with Shikellamy, Adams had three hits .. with two doubles .., two RBI and a run scored.
