NORTHERN TIER WEST SPORTS REPORT: ALL-TIOGA COUNTY BOYS' TENNIS TEAM (2022-06-15)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Wellsboro boys’ tennis team swept through the league, going 6-0 to be crowned champions for the fourth time since 2018 .. minus the disrupted 2020 season .. and as such, Hornets occupy four of the five spots on our 2022 All-Tioga County Boys’ Tennis Team, including our Player of the Year, Drew Manning.

Drew Manning, Wellsboro, Senior
While playing only one singles match on the season, Manning was a consistent force for the Hornets in doubles matches. The senior combined with five different teammates throughout the season and compiled a 13-3 record.

Owen Richardson, Wellsboro, Senior .. 9-5 in singles, 1-1 in doubles
Joseph Doty, Wellsboro, Senior .. 9-7 in singles, 2-1 in doubles
Liam Manning, Wellsboro, Senior .. 5-8 in singles, 2-1 in doubles
Daniel Harman, North Penn-Liberty, Sophomore .. 3-8 in No. 1 singles
