Savanna Doney recently completed her second season as a member of the Bloomsburg Huskies softball team, compiling a 1-0 record in 10.2 innings pitched over seven appearances for the 17-17 Huskies.
Doney, a sophomore nursing major, recorded a win in Bloom’s 6-5 win over Mansfield on April 18, throwing three-and-a-third innings and allowing no runs on five hits, a walk and a strikeout. She also went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI.
On April 23, Doney pitched two innings in a 9-1 win over Millersville, allowing one run with a walk and two strikeouts.
Bloomsburg took three-of-four games against Lock Haven to wind up their regular season this past Friday and Saturday. The Huskies won 12 of their last 15 games.
