Claire Miller made quite a debut Friday for Messiah College, helping the Falcons win their season-opening meet.
In her first collegiate competition, Miller finished second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.18.
In the 400 hurdles, Messiah swept the top-three places, with Miller placing third in 75.23.
Messiah’s 296.5 team points would more than double runner-up York College’s score of 118.5 in the Falcon First Change Hexagonal, held at Starry Outdoor Track.
Miller and the Falcons will travel to York for their next competition on April 1.
