NTL CROSS COUNTRY: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD GIRLS GO 2-0 IN TRI-MEET, BOYS 0-2 (2021-09-14)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportCANTON — The North Penn-Mansfield girls swept Canton and Towanda in a tri-meet Tuesday, while the boys were edged by Canton and finished 0-2, despite a runaway win by two and a half minutes from Noah Shedden.
NPM’s girls topped Canton 23-35 and Towanda 23-34.
Addison Farrer was the Tigers top finisher in 24:12, followed by Ella Farrer in 25:36, Madelyn Farrer in 25:41 and Madelyn Johns in 26:08.
Gabriella Gregory ran a 26:52, while Anna Kennedy finished in 28:02, Aaa Furry ran a 31:12, Kendelle Holleran finished in 32:11 and Jay Horvath had a 32:27.
After Sheddens’ top time of 16:58 on the boys side, Jude Rohl was the next finisher for the Tigers, in 23:40.
Riley Dunn ran a 24:12, followed by Isaac Tice in 25:04 and Robert Schultz in 29:24.
Both Tiger squads will return to action next Tuesday when they host a tri-meet with Northeast Bradford and Troy.
