NTL SOFTBALL: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY EXCITED FOR SEASON (2021-03-22)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — North Penn-Liberty head coach Lynn Grinnell has a large number of players this season, with a nice mix of upper and under-class girls. 12 seniors and juniors will join with the 13 sophomores and freshmen to try and keep a nice streak going for the Lady Mounties.
“We’re excited about playing,†Grinnell says, “and we’re shooting to get into districts for the sixth year in a row.â€
Grinnell and his staff are still in the process of finalizing positions, though a scrimmage with Galeton Monday night should have helped clear things up.
The Mounties will open their regular season on Friday when they travel to
Williamson.
