Kendra Colegrove helped lead her University of Pittsburgh Bradford softball team to an opening-season sweep in their double-header with Alfred State Tuesday.
In the first game, Colegrove went one-for-three and scored a run as the ‘designated player’ in the Panthers’ 5-1 win.
Colegrove, a senior, caught pitcher Kerrigan Hoffman’s 12-0 shutout in the second game. At the plate, Colegrove went two-for-four with an RBI and scored twice.
Pitt-Bradford (2-0) returns to action Saturday when they travel to Mount Aloysius.
