HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON WINS BIG IN NON-LEAGUE MATCH-UP (2022-01-10)

ULYSSES — Williamson started strong and got balanced scoring from their lineup as they pulled away from Northern Potter in a 64-38 non-conference win Monday.

The Warriors put four players in double figures, with Tristan Parker leading the way with 17 points.

Kristian Mizdail scored 15 points, Everett Dominick had 14 and Devin Odell added 12 points.

Rounding out Williamson’s scoring was Isaiah Croft with four points and Mike Lewis with two.

Williamson took a 16-12 lead after one quarter of play, as Dominick scored six points and Mizdail added a pair of buckets in the opening frame.

Parker scored eight of his points in the second quarter and Mizdail added six as the Warriors held a 17-7 advantage in the quarter and lead 33-19 at the break.

Parker and Odell each accounted for seven points in the third and Dominick added six to outscore Northern Potter 20-8.

Up 53-27 as they entered the final frame, the Warriors scored their last 11 points to play even with Northern Potter and secure the win.

Williamson snaps a four-game losing streak with the win, and stands at 2-5 on the season. They are scheduled to visit Wellsboro on Wednesday.
