Girls Basketball
Taylor Rae Jones, Williamson
Williamson lost two games this week, but Jones performed admirably in both. The sophomore guard scored 16 points in the Warriors’ 58-27 loss to Athens, then had 15 points in a 56-28 loss to Wyalusing.
Wrestling
Justice Harlan, Wellsboro
Harlan had Wellsboro’s lone win in a 59-6 loss to Towanda, as the 215-pounder pinned Spencer Jennings to open the meet and give the Hornets their only points.
Boys Basketball
Liam Manning, Wellsboro
Manning led the Hornets to a pair of wins on the week, scoring 20 points in a 59-52 win over Towanda, then scoring 20 again in Wellsboro’s 62-56 win over Sayre.
