Northern Tier West Sports ReportCORNING, NY — North Penn-Mansfield’s Parker Chapel helped his team, The Office, win the 6th-8th grade Corning Box Lacrosse League Championship here Thursday.
Chapel, a 6th-grader at NPM, has been playing lacrosse since 2nd grade .. in the Spring Chapel plays for Corning, in June for a travel team out of Elmira and then in the box league in July.
His team’s record was 8-2 during the Spring, while he went 9-3 at two tournaments in June and then wrapped up the box league championship by finishing 6-2 with a 6-4 win in the final Thursday.
