Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Tioga County YMCA-sponsored junior high boys basketball league finished up their summer schedule here Sunday with a full slate of games.
Wellsboro beat North Penn-Liberty 39-24 and Galeton topped New Covenant 25-21 in the day’s first games.
Cowanesque Valley beat North Penn-Liberty 34-25 and Wellsboro edged Williamson 40-38, followed by Troy beating Williamson 42-26 and New Covenant earning a 43-30 win over CV.
Troy finished the summer 7-0 while Wellsboro was 6-2, New Covenant was 5-3, Galeton was 3-4, CV was 3-5, NP-Liberty was 2-6 and Williamson was 1-7.
