VOLLEYBALL
Megan Spohn, North Penn-Liberty .. had 21 assists and 20 service points in a sweep of Canton, 25 assists, five aces and three kills in 3-0 win over Sayre.
BOYS SOCCER
Micaiah Fitch, Wellsboro .. had a hat trick in Hornets’ 5-1 win over Troy and two goals and an assist in their 5-2 win over NP-Liberty.
GIRLS SOCCER
Tierney Patterson, North Penn-Mansfield .. had 26 saves in the Tigers’ 5-0 loss to league-leading Troy, including the 1,000th save of her career.
FOOTBALL
Dave Hess, Cowanesque Valley .. had 10 carries for 71 yards, two catches for 78 yards and completed a pass for eight yards in Indians’ 28-6 win over Sayre.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
James Knefley, North Penn-Mansfield .. ran a 17:04.70 to place third out of 150 varsity runners at the Owego Invite.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Jaci Fairchild, North Penn-Mansfield .. placed 11th in 20:55.70 to lead the Lady Tigers to a runner-up finish at the Owego Invite.
GIRLS TENNIS
Logan Hamilton, Cowanesque Valley .. helped Lady Indians to an NTL-title clinching win at Towanda with her victory at No. 3 Singles and in an exhibition match against the Black Knights.
GOLF
Andy Hermansen, North Penn-Mansfield .. had a birdie and 12 pars to shoot a 44 and a 39 for an 83, tying for 2nd place at the NTL weekly match in Towanda.
