Northern Tier West Sports ReportATHENS — North Penn-Liberty was topped by No. 1 seed Northeast Bradford 3-1 in the finals of the District IV Class 2A volleyball championships at Athens High School Thursday night.
The Lady Panthers won the first set 25-21 and NPL tied it up with a 25-20 win in set two. NEB took a 2-1 lead with a 25-19 win in the third and claimed the District title with a 26-24 win in the fourth set.
