Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The No. 3 seeded Lady Tigers were held to six field goals in their District 4 Class 2A quarterfinal match-up with 6-seed Northumberland Christian Tuesday and fell 22-16 to bring their season to an end.
NCS led 4-3 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 12-6 at the break. The teams played even in the second half .. 4-4 in the third quarter and 6-6 in the fourth .. to provide the final.
Kameron Lightner led NP-Mansfield with 7 points while Addison Hill added five points, Elaina Shaw had two and Claire Dominick and Raegan Watkins-Bourret each had one point.
Mansfield ends their season with a 13-11 overall record, including a 10-7 mark in the NTL and a 7-3 mark in the small school division.
