Northern Tier West Sports ReportTROY — The Allegheny Mountain 12U (major) baseball team advanced in the PA District 15 Little League playoffs, topping host Troy 12-2.
The win is Allegheny Mountain’s third straight since being knocked into the elimination bracket by Southern Tioga in the first round of bracket play.
AM will travel to Wyalusing on Wednesday to take on RTL, the No. 1 team out of the East pool that lost to Tunkannock in bracket play and has won three straight in the elimination bracket as well .. including a 6-5 win that eliminated Tunkannock from the tournament.
