Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, PA — The Williamson volleyball team made quick work of visiting Towanda in their home opener here Thursday, sweeping the Lady Knights 3-0 to earn the NTL crossover win.
The Lady Warriors won the first three sets .. 25-11, 25-18 and 25-15.
Abby Gehman led Williamson with seven kills, while Leah Earle had four and Olivia Nolan and Aubrey Wells each had three. Gehman also had nine digs while Wells added two solo blocks, Nolan had 16 service points and along with Wells, had two assisted blocks.
Raegan VanGorden had 23 assists and served five aces, Joelie Stephens had 10 digs and three assists and Madisen Jones had two kills and two blocked shots.
Now 2-0 on the season, Williamson is scheduled to visit Northern Potter on Saturday.
