NTL BOYS SOCCER: STETTER'S 50TH LIFTS MOUNTIES PAST GALETON (2024-09-03)

LIBERTY, PA — Senior Brady Stetter scored his 50th career goal and the North Penn-Liberty Mounties moved to 3-1 on the season with a 2-0 win over Galeton here Tuesday.

Stetter hit his milestone at the midway point of the first half on a penalty kick, and senior Aiden Wheeland scored on a direct kick before the half to give the Mounties a 2-0 lead that would hold up the remainder of the game. 

NP-Liberty held a 12-7 advantage in shots on goal and a 6-5 edge in corner kicks. 

Keeper Deakon Valentine recorded five saves in net for the Mounties. 

Liberty (3-1, 2-1 NTL) is scheduled to play their third of four straight home matches on Thursday when they host league-leader Wellsboro (4-0, 2-0 NTL).
