Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley earned a non-league volleyball win Saturday, beating the visiting Galeton Lady Tigers 3-1.
CV won the first two sets, 25-12 and 25-22, before Galeton took the third 25-16. The Lady Indians sealed the win by taking the fourth set, 25-23.
Lily Vargeson had 2 aces, 1 kill and 30 assists while Jesse Quick had 10 kills and Lilah LaBarron added 5 kills.
CV improves to 6-11 on the season and is scheduled to face the Lady Tigers again on Monday, this time in Galeton.
