WESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley suffered a lopsided loss against small school-foe Sayre Tuesday, losing 70-45 to the visiting Redskins.
Sayre took leads of 17-8 after the first quarter, 37-20 at the half and 55-28 after three quarters of play on their way to the 70-45 win.
Ashton Burdick led the Indians in scoring with 15 points, while Parker Lee had 8 points, Josh Teague and Levi Stahli had 7 points each and Carsyn Kemp and Cam Stahli had 4 points each.
CV (2-8) will look to snap their five game losing skid on Thursday when they host Williamson (0-7).
