NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: NOLAN'S 37 POINT NIGHT LIFTS WILLIAMSON TO FIRST WIN (2025-01-09)

WESTFIELD — Williamson senior Jack Nolan scored 37 points to lift the Warriors to their first win of the season Thursday, beating Cowanesque Valley 58-54 in overtime. 

The host Indians took a 35-27 lead on Williamson heading to the fourth quarter, edging the Warriors 9-7 in the opening period, 12-11 in the second quarter and 14-9 in the third. Nolan netted 13 fourth quarter points to help the Warriors tie the game at 49-all at the end of regulation. 

Nolan scored 5 points in the overtime period and Williamson topped CV 9-5 to secure the comeback win.

Braxton Watson scored 11 points for the Warriors while Maddox Hartman added 4 points and Gabe Crance, Jacob Brown and Izaiah Croft each chipped in with 2 points. 

Ashtyn Burdick led CV with 17 points while Levi Stahli had 14, Cam Stahli and Joshua Teague had 8 points each, Parker Lee and Jacob Johnson had 3 points each and Trevon Hollenbach had 1 point.

Williamson (1-7) is scheduled to host Northern Potter on Saturday.
