Troy took a 15-9 lead after the first quarter of play but would outscore the Lady Hornets 63-16 the rest of the way .. taking the second quarter 27-6, the third 22-7 and holding Wellsboro to 3 points in the final frame while netting 14.

Chloe Brandenburg led Wellsboro with 15 points while Paige Logsdon added 6 and Lily Wagner and Teagan Novinger had 2 points each.

The Hornets (4-6) are scheduled to return to action Friday at home against Athens.
