Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportROME — For the second time this week Williamson suffered a mercy rule loss to Northeast Bradford, falling 89-29 during NTL boys’ basketball action Saturday.
The host Panthers jumped out to a 29-4 first quarter lead and led 61-11 at the half. NEB outscored the Warriors 28-18 in the second half en route to the divisional win.
Jack Nolan led Williamson’s scorers with 14 points.
The Warriors (1-11) are scheduled to visit Galeton for their second meeting on Monday. The Tigers beat Williamson 54-37 in their first match-up.
