Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWYALUSING — A bad second quarter would be too much for the Lady Tigers to overcome as they fell 56-47 to the host Wyalusing Lady Rams in an NTL large school match-up here Saturday.
Mansfield stayed with Wyalusing for a quarter and was down 11-10 before the Rams outscored the Tigers 16-3 in the second frame to take a 27-13 lead into the locker rooms.
The Lady Tigers got 10 points from Claire Dominick in the third quarter and edged the Lady Rams 16-15 then topped the hosts 18-14 in the final frame to provide the final.
Dominick just missed a double-double with 16 points and 9 rebounds while Maddie McNamara had 12 points and 4 steals, Kameron Lightner had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Raegan Watkins added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots, Avalon Rew had 3 points and Keeha Rieppel chipped in with 1 point.
North Penn-Mansfield (8-13) is scheduled to finish their season on Monday at Towanda.
