Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportLOYALSOCK — Top-seeded North Penn-Liberty continues their postseason run on Saturday when they play No. 4 seed Bucktail at Loyalsock High School in the semifinals of the District IV Class A boys basketball playoffs.
The Mounties rolled to a 67-31 win over Millville to reach the semis, while Bucktail edged No. 5 seed Northumberland Christian 60-54.
The Bucks (11-11) went 10-11 during the regular season, scoring 54 points a game and allowing 57.
Liberty and Bucktail have several common opponents from the season, including ..
.. NPL beat Meadowbrook 53-37 and the Bucks lost to the Lions 58-50.
.. The Mounties topped Montgomery 58-55 while Bucktail went 1-1 against the Red Raiders, winning 66-63 and losing 60-43.
