MANSFIELD — The Tigers fell behind Canton 4-0 early but used a big fourth inning to roll to a 16-5 win over the Warriors here Monday.
Canton scored two runs in each of the first two innings before Mansfield got on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second and three in the third to take a 5-4 lead.
The Warriors scored a run in the top of the fourth and the Tigers scored 11 runs in the bottom half to provide the final.
The Tigers had 10 base hits in the game, including home runs by both Alex Davis and Cooper Shaw.
Davis had three base hits, three RBI and two runs scored while Shaw had two hits, three RBI and three runs scored.
Shaw earned the win, going four innings and allowing five runs (4 earned) on seven hits and six strikeouts, while Shaw threw the final inning and struck out one.
Easton Pequignot (2R), Liam Shaut (2R, 2RBI), Brock Bower (2R, 2RBI), Noah Musser (1R, 2RBI) and Cameron Caldwell (1R, 2RBI) had a hit each for Mansfield.
North Penn-Mansfield is now 5-1 on the season.
