
LOCK HAVEN — A trio of Tioga County distance runners have been keeping busy with the Lock Haven University Track & Field teams, as North Penn-Mansfield grads Addison and Madalyn Farrer run for the women and Williamson alum Kristian Mizdail competes for the Bald Eagle men.
At the Lee University Invitational in Cleveland, Tennessee on March 21st and 22nd, Addison Farrer placed 14th in the 10000m (43:07.42) while Madalyn was 31st in the 800m (2:44.97) and 50th in the 1500m (5:47.77).
Mizdail had a team-high 24th-place finish in the 5000m (16:16.29).
At Susquehanna University’s Jim Taylor Duals on March 28th and 29th, Mizdail placed 3rd overall in the 5000m (15:53.38), while the Farrer sisters each competed in both the 800m and the 1500m, with Addison taking 18th (2:40.34) and 25th (5:25.25) and Madalyn placing 26th (2:48.93) and 37th (5:43.97).
Mizdail finished 33rd in the 1500m (4:08.98) at The College of William & Mary’s Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Virginia on April 5th and Addison Farrer finished 14th in the 5000m (20:24.62) while Madalyn competed at the Muhlenburg Invite and was 28th in the 1500m (5:46.13) and 31st in the 800m (2:47.61).
Lock Haven is scheduled to compete at the Susquehanna Multi Invite on April 10th and 11th and at the (Bucknell) Bison Outdoor Classic on April 11th to the 13th.
