Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Northern Tier West Sports Report / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro’s Marek Mascho and Williamson’s Jade Colwell.
Mascho threw a three-inning shutout and struck out four batters as Wellsboro routed Sayre 17-0, while also leading the Hornets at the plate with three base hits, three RBI and two runs scored.
Colwell helped the Lady Warriors to a tri-meet sweep over Wyalusing and Northeast Bradford, placing 1st in both the 100m dash (13.07) and the 200m (28.33).
