Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportLOCK HAVEN — Lauren Kosek won the 3200m title to lead Wellsboro at the 28th Annual LHU High School Track & Field Classic at Lock Haven University Saturday.
Kosek scored 10 points for the Lady Hornets with her 3200m win (10:59.18) and placed 6th to score three points in the 1600m run (5:15.11). Karah Blackwell scored Wellsboro’s remaining point with an 8th place finish in the 2000m steeplechase (11:11.62).
The boys scored 9.5 points, as Micah Vickery placed 6th in the high jump (5-09) and 8th in the 110m hurdles (17.09). Max Macias finished 6th in the 1600m run (4:36.74), David Seeling tied for 7th in the high jump (5-07) and the Hornets’ 4x800m relay team placed 8th (8:59.34).
