Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportELKLAND — Williamson collected 18 base hits and pitcher Olivia Gee tossed a three-hit shutout as the Lady Warriors routed the visiting Sayre Redskins 15-0 in NTL softball action here Tuesday.
Gee walked just two and struck out eight in her four inning complete game, and also produced at the plate where the sophomore had two base hits .. including a home run .. with five RBI and two runs scored.
Kaegan Short (1 RBI, 4 R) had four base hits while Savanna Dean (3 RBI, 1 R) had three and Kenna Thomas (2-2B, 1 RBI, 3 R) and Alexis Sprague (1 RBI, 1 R) each had two hits.
Joelie Stephens (2 RBI, 1 R), Hannah Penzone (1 R), Lexi Smalley (1 R), Laaila Hackett (1 R) and Allee Southard each had one base hit in the win.
Williamson, now 7-5 overall on the season, is scheduled to return to play on Thursday when they host Cowanesque Valley.
