NTL BASEBALL: TIGERS CRUISE TO MERCY RULE WIN OVER WILLIAMSON (2025-05-14)

TIOGA JUNCTION — North Penn-Mansfield scored 13 early runs and Easton Pequignot threw a two-hitter as the Tigers rolled to a 15-1 win over the host Williamson Warriors on Wednesday.

Pequignot went all five innings for Mansfield and allowed an unearned run on the two Williamson hits and three walks while striking out five. 

Alex Davis (4 rbi, 2 runs), Cooper Shaw (1 rbi, 2 runs) and Pequignot (1 rbi, 3 runs) each had two base hits in the win, while Andy hermansen (3b, 1 rbi, 1 run), Jason Harer (2b, 3 rbi, 1 run) and Riley Oakes (1 rbi, 1 run) had a base hit each. 

Collin Oakes (1 run) and Cameron Caldwell (2 runs) each drew two walks while Liam Shaut and Conner Lewis each scored a run.

Lhandyn Nauman had a double and Carter Tubbs singled for the Warriors’ hits in the loss. Sawyer Carleton was tagged with the loss, allowing nine earned runs on seven hits and four walks with one strikeout in an inning and a third.

North Penn-Mansfield (13-6) secures the No. 4 seed in the upcoming District 4 3A playoffs with the win. 

Williamson (3-11) has either one or three games remaining in their season, depending on which schedule is correct.
