Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Little League baseball and softball All-Star season began Friday evening, as a number of local squads opened pool play.
In Majors softball, Southern Tioga (pictured) outlasted Canton 7-4 while Wellsboro fell to Troy, 19-1.
In Juniors baseball, Southern Tioga-Breon (pictured) lost 4-2 to Athens while Southern Tioga-Brant fell 15-2 to Canton.
In Minors baseball, Southern Tioga topped Wellsboro 10-0.
