Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportATHENS — The Southern Tioga minors softball team completed an undefeated run through the District 15 All-Star tourney here Saturday, beating Athens 3-0 to claim the title.
ST went 3-0 in pool play, topping Canton (7-5), Wellsboro (12-2) and Troy (7-5) and ran through the bracket with wins over Tunkhannock (17-1), RTL (12-2) and Athens (1-0) to reach Saturday's final.
Next up is the Sectional tourney, where Southern Tioga will face the District 12 champs on Saturday, July 5th at the Warrior Run Complex in Turbotville.
