
TIOGA COUNTY — North Penn-Mansfield senior baseball standout Alex Davis leads the All-Tioga County ‘Super 7’ as the Male Athlete of the Spring.
The All-Tioga County Baseball Player of the Year, Davis put up video game-like numbers at the plate for the 13-win Tigers .. batting .516 and getting on base at a .580 clip with 33 base hits, including four home runs and seven doubles, 34 RBI, 37 runs scored and 22 stolen bases while drawing 12 walks. The Penn State Harrisburg commit was stellar on the mound as well, compiling a 5-1 record and a 1.73 ERA over 29 innings of work with 31 strikeouts. Davis was recently named as a first team infielder on the PA Baseball Coaches 3A All-State team.

Aiden O’Neil, Williamson T&F, sr. .. tied for 8th place at the PIAA Class 2A Championships in the pole vault after placing 3rd at Districts and 1st at the NTL meet. The ’25 Field Athlete of the Year has announced his intent to pole vault at the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
Luke Kreger, NP-Mansfield T&F, jr. .. the All-Tioga County Track & Field Athlete of the Year was a consistent threat on the track throughout the season, competing in sprints and on the Tigers’ 4x100m relay team while qualifying for the PIAA State Championships in the high jump by placing 2nd at Districts and was 5th at the NTL meet.
Mason Brill, Wellsboro tennis, so. .. the All-Tioga County Boys Tennis Player of the Year went 14-1 as Wellsboro’s No. 3 singles player as the Hornets went 6-0 in the league and 11-6 overall.
Sudan Benner, NP-Mansfield T&F, fr. .. is the All-Tioga County Track AOTY as well as the Newcomer of the Year after earning a 6th-place medal at Districts and a 2nd-place finish at the NTL meet in the 400m and placing 4th in the NTL in the 200m dash.
Loagan Stickler, Cowanesque Valley baseball, sr. .. the All-Tioga County Offensive Player of the Year and future York College Spartan hit .453 with a .532 OBP, 29 base hits .. including three home runs, two triples and seven doubles .. 25 RBI, 24 runs scored, 12 walks and 20 stolen bases. Before suffering late season arm issues, Stickler threw 20 innings for the Class A District 4 champion Indians and went 3-0 with 38 strikeouts and a 2.41 ERA.
Cooper Shaw, NP-Mansfield baseball, sr. .. hit .449 for the Tigers with a .512 on-base-percentage, 31 base hits, 8 doubles, 3 home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs scored and 9 stolen bases. Went 4-2 on the mound with a 2.87 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 39 innings of work.
