
WELLSBORO — The North Penn-Mansfield golf team competed in the third NTL match of the season at Tyoga Golf Course in Wellsboro on Monday and finished 4th on the day.
The Tigers had 346 points, behind Towanda (322), Athens (323) and Wellsboro (341) and ahead of Wyalusing (376), Cowanesque Valley (386), Canton (405) and Sayre (554) to go 4-3 on the day.
Andy Hermansen had Mansfield’s low score on the day as the senior finished 3rd overall with a 77, including carding three birdies and 9 pars.
Alex Kalamaris tied for 6th place with an 82 while Benton Zay had a 91, Collin Oakes had a 96, Layne Cummings shot a 108 and Jason Harer had a 118.
With the Tigers’ 4-3 record on the day, they now stand at 13-8 on the year, good for 4th place in the league.
NP-Mansfield returns to action next Monday when they host Wyalusing and Canton for nine-hole matches at 4:30 p.m. at Corey Creek.
