Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — Cowanesque Valley placed 6th at the NTL’s third league match of the season at Wellsboro's Tyoga Golf Course on Monday.
The Indians had 386 points, behind Towanda (322), Athens (323), Wellsboro (341) and North Penn-Mansfield (346) and Wyalusing (376) and ahead of Canton (405) and Sayre (554) to go 2-5 on the day.
Ashtyn Burdick carded a 93 while Danny Smith finished with a 94, Lucas Hamilton had a 99, Brent Watkins had a 100, Laila Hacket shot a 105 and Katie Huzey had a 113.
CV now stands at 8-13 on the season, good for 5th place in the league.
The Indians return to action next Monday at Towanda with a tri-match against the Knights and Wellsboro.
