Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ for Tioga County are North Penn-Mansfield football player Luke Kreger and Williamson volleyball player Raegan VanGorden.
Kreger finished with 16 rushes for 109 yards and two TD’s on the ground, had a reception for 12 yards, returned a punt 87 yards for a score and had two interceptions to lead North Penn-Mansfield to a 21-14 season-opening win over Wyalusing.
The Lady Warriors beat Northern Potter 25-21, 25-16 and 25-14 in their season opener, led by VanGorden’s 30 assists, eight points and three kills.
