TIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson battled the defending large school champion Troy Lady Trojans here Tuesday but came up short and suffered their first loss of the season, 3-0.
Troy won the first set 26-24, the second 25-17 and again edged the Lady Warriors in the third, 26-24.
Raegan VanGorden had 21 assists as Abby Gehman collected 11 kills on the night and Olivia Nolan had four.
Bailey Snyder had 18 digs with Gehman adding 11 and VanGorden seven, while Nolan and VanGorden each had nine service points and Aubrey Wells had five.
Williamson (1-1) returns to play on Thursday with a trip to Towanda.
