
EAST TROY — North Penn-Liberty scored a pair of unanswered goals to edge the host Troy Trojans 2-1 in an NTL boys soccer match-up here Wednesday.
Troy took a 1-0 lead early in the first half before junior Parker Jackson scored off an assist from senior Truman Loudenslager with 13 minutes left before the break to tie it up.
With seven minutes remaining in the game, Loudenslager found senior Bryce Kent and Kent netted the eventual game-winner.
The Mounties outshot Troy 27-5 and held a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.
Mountie keeper Deakon Valentine recorded eight saves in goal.
North Penn-Liberty (2-1) is scheduled to return to action next Tuesday at Galeton.
