Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson hosted Hughesville and lost 11-2 to the Lady Spartans in a non-league girls soccer match-up here Monday.
Hughesville out shot Williamson 32-5 and held an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Maddie Bailey scored both of Williamson’s goals, the first off a Star Ordway assist and the second on a helper from Alexis Sprague.
The Lady Warriors used five goal keepers in the loss as Zeraya Wilson played 23 minutes (3 GA, 3 saves, Helena Gonzales played 17 minutes (3 GA, 3 saves), Laila Hackett played 19 minutes (2 GA, 1 save), Bella Medina played 13 minutes (3 GA, 2 saves) and Leeann Kessing played 13 minutes (2 saves).
Williamson, now 2-3 on the season, returns to action Wednesday when they host Wyalusing.
