
LIBERTY — The Mounties got a pair of first half goals and held on for a 2-1 win over Northeast Bradford (6-1) in NTL boys soccer action Saturday.
Freshman David Graf scored four minutes in and keeper Deakon Valentine provided the eventual game-winner on a punted goal kick that bounced over top of the NEB goalie for the score.
NEB scored their lone goal in the second half and had a 10-8 advantage in shots-on-goal and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
In addition to his goal scored, Valentine had six saves in net for the Mounties.
North Penn-Liberty (5-3-1) is scheduled to visit Williamson on Wednesday.
