HIGH SCHOOL XC: TIGERS COMPETE AT McQUAID INVITE (2025-09-27)

ROCHESTER, NY — North Penn-Mansfield’s cross country teams competed at the 60th McQuaid Invitational on Saturday, turning in a top-20 time in the boys’ race and a pair of top-50 times on the girls’ side.

Michael Knefley (16:20.4) finished 18th among 384 runners in the Boys’ Varsity A-1 (small schools) 3-mile race while Braden VanLoon (17:40.4) was 68th, Isaiah VanLoon (19:11.7) was 174th, Nolan Palmatier (20:01.3) finished 239th, Dylan Kolb (20:30.4) was 268th and Toby Holt (20:32.5) was 271st as the Tigers placed 24th out of 50 score-able teams.

In the Girls’ Varsity A-1 (small schools) 3-miler, Jaci Fairchild (20:10.1) was 45th and Leila Garverick (20:12.9) was 48th among the race’s 319 runners, leading the Lady Tigers to a 22nd-place finish as a team. Kara Barrett (22:34.7) finished 134th, Moira Wheeler (23:16.0) was 168th and Carolyn Cherwinski (25:42.6) was 259th.
