Northern Tier West Sports ReportPORT ALLEGANY — The Williamson volleyball team played in the Port Allegany tournament on Saturday, going 4-4 in pool play and reaching the championship semifinals.
The Lady Warriors went 2-0 against Tidioute during pool play while splitting sets with Cameron County and Austin and falling 0-2 to Port Allegany.
After beating Kane 25-11 in bracket play, Williamson lost 25-23 to the host Gators in the semis.
For the tournament, Abby Gehman collected 25 kills while Olivia Nolan had 18 and Aubrey Wells had 12. Gehman and Nolan each had 19 service points with Nolan serving nine aces and Gehman seven and Raegan VanGorden had 49 assists while Bailey Snyder had 24 digs.
Williamson (8-1) returns to league play on Tuesday when they host Cowanesque Valley.
