
MANSFIELD — The Lady Tigers had their four game winning streak snapped on Monday, falling to Class 3A Jersey Shore, 1-0.
Jersey Shore (4-11) broke up the scoreless tie at the 58:27 mark of the second half and held on for the win.
North Penn-Mansfield was out shot 8-3 and had an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks while keeper Avalon Rew recorded seven saves in the loss.
Now 7-7 on the season, the Lady Tigers are scheduled to return to play on Wednesday when they host Wellsboro (10-5). The Lady Hornets beat NP-Mansfield 3-0 in the first meeting this season.
