Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — The No. 8-seeded North Penn-Liberty Mounties fell to the No. 9 seed Warrior Run 5-0 in a preliminary round match-up of the District 4 Class 2A playoffs here Wednesday.
The Mounties were out shot 18-2 by the Defenders with keeper Deakon Valentine making 13 saves in net for Liberty.
NPL finishes their season with a 10-8-1 record.
