Northern Tier West Sports ReportLOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Cowanesque Valley and Williamson wrestling alum Kade Sottolano has started off his redshirt junior season strong for the Lock Haven wrestling team, going 6-1 for the D1 Bald Eagles.
Sottolano, who transferred to Lock Haven from Edinboro this year, went 4-1 to place 5th at 285 pounds at the Princeton Open to open his Bald Eagle career.
The heavyweight then picked up a pair of wins in Lock Haven’s first two dual meets of the season .. earning a 47 second fall in the Bald Eagles’ 48-6 win over Long Island University and a 4-2 decision in a 25-8 loss to #26 Indiana.
LHU is back in action Sunday, November 23rd at the PRTC Keystone Classic at Penn in Philadelphia, then hosts the Lock Haven Open on November 30th.
