Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley fell behind visiting Troy 51-10 by halftime and went on to lose 60-23 in an NTL crossover girls’ basketball match-up here Wednesday.
Troy took a 26-8 lead after one quarter of play and outscored CV 25-2 in the second frame. The Trojans won the third quarter 5-4 before the Lady Indians took the final quarter 9-4.
Starr Ordway led CV with 12 points while Jalyn Anderson added seven points, Arianna Cary scored three points and Reagan Neally had one point.
CV (0-2) is scheduled to host North Penn-Mansfield on Friday.
